Nestled in the heart of Sacramento, Las Palmas Carniceria, Pupuseria & Taqueria offers a delectable taste of Salvadoran cuisine, with an ambiance that resonates with the vibrant culture. Diners rave about the pupusas, especially the Revueltas and Queso con loroco, highlighting their freshness and generous size. Joseph Pacheco praised the horchata Salvadoreno, noting its nutty cocoa flavor that delighted his dad, while other patrons echo similar sentiments on the authentic, filling meals.
Despite some mixed reviews, one recurring theme is the friendly and prompt service that elevates the dining experience. Regulars like Calvin S appreciate the consistency and affordability of the menu, making Las Palmas a sought-after spot for returning customers. However, a solitary voice spoke of disappointment regarding a takeout fried fish, emphasizing the challenges of maintaining high standards at all times.
With a rich variety of offerings, from hearty pupusas to refreshing drinks, Las Palmas remains a vital destination for those seeking authentic Salvadoran flavors. The restaurant’s commitment to quality and authentic dishes, paired with welcoming service, solidifies its place in the local dining scene—definitely worth a visit for both newcomers and seasoned fans.

This was my first time at Las Palmas. I took my Salvadoreno dad to lunch. The horchata Salvadoreno was a big hit with Dad, and the nutty cocoa flavor was superb. We ate pupusas, and they were delicious!!! Revueltas (mixed) and Queso con loroco. Superb! The cortido served with the pupusas was excellent. Service was extremely friendly, and the pupusas were fresh and hot. We will 100% go back. The atmosphere is standard taqueria, so I gave it a 3.

My wife and Ivwent for lunch today and the food there is so good and authentic the Pupusas are very delicious and big too. The service is very good as well, very fast for the amount of people that were being served. We have been there a few times and they never disappointed us. Our kids even asked us to bring them some for lunch! Keep up the great job!

I ordered my usual "take out" whole fried fish today, which is really good. And today "OMG"!!! SO DISCUSSING!!! This fish was old to the core and dry with no flavor, about the skin "YUK"!!! I am so disappointed, 20 down the drain. I will never go back again. Sal I hope you read my complaint. I honored you guys for years, not any more. So not happy.

I've been coming here for years but finally leaving a review. Service is great and the food's consistent! One of the few affordable and filling options still around!

Come for the Pupusas! Anything is good here but the Pupusas are to die for. I order delivery from here alot but the food is even better fresh and in the store.

SOOOOOOOOO GOOD! Salvadorian/Mexican food at its best! I tried all the different papusas, and they are all good. Handmade to order so the food takes a little longer to reach the table, but it's worth the wait. The salvadorian rice and beans are craveable. The ground beef filled empenadas are tasty. And we tried yuka for the first time, and it was bomb! I HIGHLY recommend eating here or taking an order to go!

Great El Salvadorian tastes! Quite different than local Mexican restaurants. We went there for lunch and my wife had Revueltas Pupusas and I had a carnitas burrito. The Jamaica tea was perfect for the 100 degree day! Great service and a down-home local atmosphere.
